Author

Jon Eden received his undergraduate training in zoology at North Carolina State University, graduate training in physiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and medical school training at St. George's University School of Medicine (SGUSOM)--degree pending (a miracle). He performed his clerkships in psychiatry in a joint SGUSOM/University of California-Davis program at Napa State Hospital, Napa, CA and in a SGUSOM program at St. Anne's Psychiatric Hospital, Canford Cliffs, England. Prior to medical school, the author worked as a flight instructor and commercial pilot.

The above training notwithstanding, it must be emphasized that the author is not a mental health professional--he possesses neither the required advanced degree or license nor does he practice in the field.
